It\u2019s fair to say that we\u2019ve had a lot to feel blue about recently, and with the dreaded \u2018C-word\u2019 (yes, coronavirus) still dominating daily conversation, it\u2019s difficult not to dwell on the downside of lockdown life. Without the added pressures of a pandemic, January has traditionally been a rather miserable month for the Northern Hemisphere \u2013 it\u2019s no wonder that \u2018Blue Monday\u2019 \u2013 supposedly the most depressing day of the year, falls within this long stretch of limited daylight (and don\u2019t even get us started on the weather).<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re in need of a mid-month pick-me-up, we\u2019ve assembled all things bright and blue-tiful from ten destinations awash with this calming colour, with all the feel-good factor of dipping your toes in the pool to drifting off to sea\u2026<\/h3>\n

Caribbean<\/h2>\n

It’s almost impossible to picture the Caribbean<\/a> without imagining its impossibly blue waters, blissfully blending with pink-sand beaches, vibrant coral reefs, and colouful fishing villages.
