As Fashion Week comes to town in London, New York, Paris and Milan, we shine a spotlight on some of the world’s most stylish boutique hotel suites – from Mallorca to Miami. So pack your ready-to-wear and take to the other kind of runway for these glamorous global escapes and their trend-setting bedrooms.

1. Nobu Hotel, Ibiza Bay

Ibiza Bay is the place to see and be seen. And Nobu Hotel has tapped into the grown-up glamour of the White Isle with its laid-back luxury aesthetic. Channel your goddess vibes in the Plunge Pool Junior Suite with its frost white and gold palette, alfresco rain shower and acres of post-party lounging space. Pack this season’s hottest ballerina-strap sandals to catwalk into this suite in style.

2. The Betsy South Beach, Miami

Slouchy tailoring is all over the runways this season, and there’s nowhere better to wear this timeless look than the deco district of Miami Beach. For an apartment worthy of Jay Gatsby, check into the Skyline Penthouse at The Betsy. Outside, the 1000ft terrace promises inspiring views in every direction. Inside, the lost-style space reads like a ‘who’s who’ of craftsmanship, with Sferra linen, Malin + Goetz bathrooms and a baby grand piano for contemporary crooning. Grab a book for the curated library and read it by the light of a chandelier.

3. Fendi Private Suites, Rome

Nothing says fashion royalty quite as elegantly as the former aristocratic residence of Palazzo Fendi, which is now home to the Fendi Private Suites. The world’s first hotel by the Italian designer, fashionistas can now stay in true Roman Holiday style above the flagship store on Via dei Condotti. An exclusive set of seven impossibly chic suites, each bedroom has been designed with the sophisticated set in mind. Neutral tones are balanced with black and white photographs by Karl Lagerfeld from the Fendi archives, whilst Makò cotton satin bed linen from the designer’s Casa guarantees the most luxurious beauty sleep before exploring the boutique with your very own personal shopper.

4. Finca Serena, Mallorca

Sometimes, stripped-back simplicity makes the biggest statement. The magazine-worthy purist interiors of the self-contained Villa at Finca Serena are an invitation to breathe freely. Mellow white and stone shades mirror the landscape just beyond this private residence, with high ceilings and a glass-walled bathroom for stargazing from the bathtub. The terrace is the knockout feature though. Sit here with a glass of Prensel Blanc, plug into one of Finca Serena’s sense-stirring playlists and look out across cypress, lemon trees and grape vines. Farm life has never looked so good.

 5. Storfjord, Norway

Don your (faux, sustainable) furs for a trip to Viking country. Arriving at Storfjord is a little like entering a Scandinavian folk tale, with woodland cabin-style rooms, copper pans of logs for throwing onto the fire and wraparound views of UNESCO-listed landscapes. The Storfjord Suite epitomises its blend of Scandi heritage and modern sensibilities, with a charcoal-coloured four-poster that’s very, very difficult to leave. Then again, you can step straight out into the icy scenery – complimentary snow shoes are provided.

Couture comforts… in brief

Castello di Reschio: Umbrian estate of play with a five-floor Tower Suite for Rapunzel-like R&R.

Cap Rocat: Fabulous fort above Palma’s beautiful bay, where ‘Sentinel’ rooms are carved into the rocks and infinity plunge pools flow into the seascape.

Boheme: A boho beauty on Mykonos – reserve the Bohemian Sea View Suite for your own, outdoor Jacuzzi facing the island’s famous sunsets.

Hotel Lou Pinet: Take me to the Riviera. Rekindling Saint-Tropez in the swinging sixties is this designer den, with cool interiors and a warm welcome epitomised in the private Suite Prestige.

Terra Dominicata: Heard it through the grapevine? Spain’s undiscovered Montsant Natural Park is the backdrop to this immersive wine escape, where the beautifully styled Junior Suite is made for grown-up getaways.
